Many commercial solar system owners are under the impression that once their solar system is installed they can forget about it because the products have warranties. Unfortunately, this can provide a false sense of security as most equipment warranties come with several limitations which can render the warranty void just when you need it. The most common limitation is that the equipment needs to be installed and maintained in line with the instructions in the respective product manual. This means you need to treat your solar system no differently to how you’d treat a car warranty with regular servicing to ensure it remains valid.
